His story is deeply rooted in the park’s transformation—from a royal hunting reserve before 1973 to the world-renowned national park it is today.
Generations of his family have been tied to this land. His grandfather was often hired as an expert during royal hunting operations, when kings of Nepal and visiting dignitaries from Europe and the UK came to Chitwan. Today, Dipesh carries forward that legacy with a very different mission: not hunting, but protecting, guiding, and sharing the wonders of Chitwan’s wildlife and culture with travelers from around the globe.
